A York County businesswoman is offering a new option to health-care organizations struggling to find nurses.

Gdovin Personnel Inc. has expanded its business to include a service that helps organizations find registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. Ann Gdovin-Hake founded the Springettsbury Township-based staffing agency in 1996.

The company spent several years helping health-care organizations find food-service, housekeeping and clerical workers. The company decided to expand into the clinical realm because hospitals and other providers will face a continued labor shortage as Baby Boomers age, said Gdovin-Hake, president of Gdovin Personnel. "It's time to take it to the next level," she said.
